Default 18-year old + two brain cells + a WRX = Deadly Mixture

Well, my baby took a significant hit from road debris while travelling East on Hwy 16 last Friday. As a result, I was in a body shop this afternoon having an appraisal done on the damage. Rally Subaru recommended Southern Auto Body one block south of Whyte and East of 101 Street.

Southern had a few Subie's there including one new OBS, a new Legacy, an two older Legacy's. I was chatting with "Ron" and he told me that a few days ago, he just had finished fixing a 2003 WRX in his shop that had 245km on the odo and $18,000 in damage to the front end

Apparently the 18-year old walking case of pre-pubesent, hormones curbed his car doing 140kph.

I could only shake my head in disgust, only to do it again when I found out that the flying 2 X 6 that hit the front end of my car caused almost $3000 in damage.

I just fixed a scratch on my bumper... $250.00

Man... 3K, maybe you can get some aftermarket hood or something instead of OEM stuff... just a thought!!!

Sorry to hear Memo!!! That just plain sucks!!!!

You okay??? Hope no one got hurt.

A Turismo eh? The guy is probably thanking you. If I drove that, I'd probably want someone to hit me too.
