I've been scratchin my head at this local listing the last couple days. $22k for a bugeye with 100k on the clock... Either he left some very important parts out of his ad or he's straigh out of his mind!

Great start to the ad...

"sounds like a video game. The blow off valve gives a most wonderful crisp pressure release sound"

I don't know how I feel about all this. Almost feel bad for the kid with the whole "lost my job" situation. Still rather dumb.

that's unfortunate..

but some people seem to honestly think they'll get every penny they've ever put towards their vehicle back out of it when they sell it!

I mean are these guys including all the gasoline they've burned and adding up the cost and putting it on top?

Any transcript of the conversation? Based on what has been posted so far, his horrible grammar, and bro talk leads me to believe this is not a very well put together car.

He blew the motor, so obviously this thing was far from babied it's whole life.

Regardless of how built it is, the next owner will have to pay to have the motor rebuilt and to repair no telling what else. He needs to sell this car as the project car it is for maybe $10-15k.

Here's another good one. This one is less in the vein of a stupid person. But it is one hell of a way to sell a used STI motor.
