Question 2012 WRX Cobb Stage 1 CEL(s) w/Pics

Here is my dilemma
I have a 2012 WRX ~5k miles
Accesport and COBB SF Intake
Stage 1 93 SF Map

I keep getting CELs when i am starting my car (usually after i have slept, overnight). I did a little monitoring of my boost and it looks like i am on target, with a high of 16.5.

Please help me troubleshoot this...i really don't want to know that i wasted ~800 on the accesport/intake.

Thank you

You did not waste your money, fortunately, as your car appears to simply be suffering from an unrelated mechanical problem Neither the intake nor the AccessPORT deal in any way with the vehicle's EVAP hardware. Out of curiosity, does the same code show up when you read codes with the AccessPORT?

Believe it or not, checking tightness of the gas cap is the FSM's first diagnostic for this code.

Cheers

The accessport does not recognize the CEL.
I have tried to re secure the gas cap a couple of times, to no avail.

I googled the code real quick and it says some possible causes could be a defective gas cap or there is a large leak in the evap system. Can you smell gas at all?

To keep from stealing someone elses words repairpal.com had a pretty decent check list to almost walk you through finding the problem. Lots of checking for damaged hoses, fuel filler neck etc. Seems like the best way to fix it is to go to the dealer.
