Default Need help choosing tires

So found out today 1 of my tires has a nail through it and no shop wants to fix it because its too close to the edge of the tire and they are afraid of a blowout. Which now means I need to get all new tires. So need help choosing tires.

Current tires are 235/45/17 RE960AS Potenza on stock 05 sti wheels. These are my only wheels and don't want to get separate winter/summer wheels. Overall I like these tires but in the snow it engages the ABS really soon and is a little hard to stop at times.

So my current options that I am stuck on(all same size 235/45/17) are Potenza RE970AS($620), Continental ExtremeContact DWS($572) or Pirelli P Zero Nero($540). So looking for peoples opinions on these tires. So far this is what I know, maybe you guys have more hands on opinions.

Potenza is best for dry and wet but worst for snow.
Pirelli is great cornering, much better in snow than Potenza but worse than DWS, but have worse stopping distance.
Continental is great for snow, wet and dry are ok but nowhere close to the other two tires.

i wouldnt put a 235/45 on that car...225/45 is better...and as tires suck in snow.....ya cant have it both ways....that is why all season tires are, in fact, NO season tires

buck up and get another set of wheels---you can get 16x6.5 2.0 wrx wheels and 2 3mm spacers for the front.... and buy some cheap altimax snow tires and put REAL summer tires on the wheels you have and not have to worry about using **** as tires in the real winter.

you dont wanna hear that....but that is the best answer

and you wasted all that $$$$$ on your car to put as tires on it???

Would love to get nice set of rims and do winter ones and summer others. However got Europe vacation planned this year and just bought a new house so made huge down payment there. So unfortunately money is a little tight now. So need 1 set of tires. I understand won't be the best in the snow nor best in the summer but need something ok that will do both.
