Default UEL Header Installation Issue

So i'm installing a modified Megan Racing WRX UEL header. It was previously owned by someone with the same exact MY07 2.5i as me so I know the fitment is right. I was able to get the header bolted up to the block but now I cant get the header bolted to the cat pipe. I tried keeping the header nuts loose and maneuvering the headers into place. They seem to line up with the angle of the flanges but it seem like the rotation of the cat pipe flange is like 5 degrees off. I was told to loosen the spring loaded bolts at the other side of the cat pipe but I hate messing with those bolts and dont see how they could be relevant. I was able to get on bolt in but it seems like the whole pipe just needs to be rotated <5 degrees just to get it to fit. Its such a minor issue but I cant seem to get it to fit.

Do you guys have any suggestions?

I was thinking I might need to have a shop cut the flange and re-weld it the 5 degrees to the right. Any help is greatly appreciated.
