Default 91 Crx Dx (SOLD)

My son's done with his driving school and now prepping for license. He's learned how to drive a manual on this car (only reason I bought it). 91 CRX DX 5 speed, 119k miles. New alt, tires, exhaust, fuel filter, air filter, oil changed every 5k. Everything works but AC which I'm told needs a part to fix a leak. 35mpg. Great daily and would be a good winter vehicle to keep your Subaru nice. You're welcome to come drive it.

$3500 and will drop the price till I get solid bites on it.

It is registered and daily driven. Title in hand.

Would take guitars in trade, maybe. Depends. strat/tele/music man, parker fly, guild, wolfgang hard tail, HP special hardtail

I'd rather have that than my old OBS! I don't think you'll have a problem selling it.

Yep, prepare to get a lot of calls from people who will destroy that car.

I live in Hopkinton and work in Boxborough. I can drive most anywhere on the weekend to show the car. I daily drive the car now and put 1000 miles on it a month. Hopkinton to Boxborough.....so mostly 495. I put gas in it and change the oil. Pretty boring as I never have to fix anything.

Depends. The wife has an 08 Outback, so I would consider wheels. I am open to offers. Not here to advertise the car forever......you can search for my LGT when I sold it Aug 2011. I drop the price till it's gone.

Just curious - how did you manage to keep it so clean? Never driven in winter?

Look at the miles. I got it 21 years old with 115k miles. Previous owner, I'm sure cleaned the crap out of it before I got it. My son spends hours and hours cleaning it now.

x2. That alone is well, well worth the price. I spent nearly $3,000 on rust repair work on the quarter panels of my old Accord.

Good luck with the sale! Trade for an Agile Les Paul double cut copy?

Jack let me look at some numbers and see if we can make something happen. Im looking to replace my current commuter with something good on gas and that can become a "toy" after we get a "new" commuter in a few years.

That's the plan anyways. I'd have to flip the Lotus upside down and use it as a sled.

I would take it as a partial trade. The wife gave me the "unamused" look when my son mentioned that I put "trade for guitars" in the ad. It still qualifies as not buying a guitar in my book.

Sounds like a perfect fit. I've gone back and fourth as to whether I should sell or do a B16 VTEC swap, buy springs/Tokiko Illuminas (I have someone with a set wanting to sell) and track it. I've concluded that the Lotus will do just fine for the little track time I plan.

The car survived the Mass Tuning underground garage show in Boston. I had more people tell me "you should keep that" than I can count.
