Default e207 hybrid

i was thinking of picking up a version 7 block i found with no heads and putting my 04 wrx heads on it.
will my ecu be able to run this just fine?
no wiring issues or modifications needed?

No ecu required, if you had the heads and wanted the AVCS to work different story.

i have called a few local shops around my area.. and well i have had 2 saying that my ecu will work with that build but lots of wiring modification needed...
and had to other shops say that it should work perfectly because its basiclly the same engine as what i have now just better.

The first two shops you talked to and told you there is wiring needed for this swap, don't go to them again. LOL. If its just the SB then no wiring needed.

tHATS what i thought. yup that all the short block from a spec c jdm 2.0l.
i guess im going to get to it swap my heads and etc.. to the jdm sb and ill have a fresh motor ready to go thanks
