Default Installed double din, now have problems

Installed my new double din yesterday JVC KW-AV60BT.
The only thing I have left to so is dremel the bezel.
BUT, everytime I shut the car off, the radio resets to display mode and my trip resets back to 0.0 Anyone know what could be causing this? I've heard it was a fuse and will be going out to check that in about 30 minutes

The radio is losing its presets because you have it wired wrong.

It sounds like you have it wired to just an igntion source so when you turn the key off, that wire loses power. You should have a wire that connects to 12v constant power (so it saves presets) and a wire that connects to an ignition source so when the key is turned on, it kicks the cd player on.

Well the wiring on these are pretty simply color coordinated, so I'm not really sure how it would be wrong. Do you know the exact wires that could cause this?

Did you buy a plug and play harness or are you hard wireing in the cd player?

I'm not sure on your specific double din, but on mine i beleive the red wire was constant power, the yellow wire was ignition source, and black was ground.

Yellow to Constant, red to switched. If the constant doesn't go direct to battery, or constant source on car harness, you will lose presets.

I bought the plug n play. And when it was being installed, it wouldn't turn on unless the red and yellow were switched, could this have something to do with it?

Is the yellow connected to the yellow and the red to the red?

Make the pins on the wires in the factory harness are clipped in good and are making a proper connection.

I contacted Car Stereo In-Dash and they said my red to red and yellow to yellow isnt working because my fuse is blown. Tried searching for a fuse but couldnt find one thats bad.
Searched the box in the car AND under the hood. Any ideas?
