Default stg 1 max hp

I'm running the stock OTS map. the car has a CBE and stock intake.

a tuner here (we don't have many) said i couldn't stretch SAFELY more than 5% more than the stock OTS.

Is this true? how much can you get out of the OTS stg1 with a CBE and stock intake?

probably around 227hp to the wheels? i say give it some time for the ecu to learn your driving habits and you will be able to determine its actual potential.

no no, i've been running that map since lat spring with no issues... got a P044 once and switched to LWG and everything is stable..

So you say 227 at the wheels ? is that if i was to get it tuned by a professionnal or just the stock OTS map ?

i didn't get in on a dyno yet so i can't say how much i'm pulling right now.. all i can say is if i compare a bone stock 11 wrx (oem ecu tune) we are equal.

SO i can assume there is some improvement to the 225 stock crank hp.

that's why i'm asking how much left of hidden potential can i get out ..

you may get more out of a protune than a AP flash.
but i suggest you upgrade to stage 2 by having 3" tbe system, GM EBCS, equal length headers and lastly a protune. you will have a whole different car that is more powerful, better on gas and more fun to drive. but before doing the mods, ensure you are upto the required maintainence.
