Hello all,
I've been thinking about getting a stage 2 protune on my 2012 wrx and have a couple of questions: Do I need to upgrade from the stock 565cc injectors in order to not run too lean and damage my engine? How much does a protune generally cost? Mods Invidia catless DP Invidia catless UP (also, do I really need this??) K&N Typhoon SRI SPT catback Cobb AP Thanks! ![]()

no injectors needed for stage 2 at all. protunes are typically around $500 around me plus the pre dyno inspection.

Hi Lance,
How much on average does the boost increase during boost creep? Does it ever spike to 20psi or more there in Oregon? I live in Louisiana at sea level, just trying to get a ball park of what I should expect from the different elevation and modifications. I will be running the Perrin DP to help with the boost creep and to also maintain a catalytic converter. Kris |

Thanks guys!
I've decided to drop the SRI as it will just further lean out my car, and since the stock intake is more than adequate. Instead, in order to keep boost levels constant (and safe), I'm focusing on the following mods: Invidia catless DP Invidia catless UP SPT catback GFB BOV/BPV GS EBCS Cobb AP |
