Higher gear light on the throttle, and if you start to kick out don't oversteer, let off the gas and correct the car

Or put your foot down and see how long you can keep it kicked out. Just my personal preference lol

Subarus are much more prone to snap power-off oversteer then they are to power-on oversteer.

I would always advise straiting the car out before letting off the gas.

^ especially on slippery surfaces. What I utterly hate (but it's more about me not yet being used to it) is that on the 08 DBW, there is a noticeable lag in between letting of the gas and the actual engine breaking kickin in - something which was immediate on the drive-by-cable 03. Ugh.
