The 48 was for my wifes car but it's not put together yet.

Im not sure. I also just got my 6 speed. So maybe this weekend.

Pulled the turbo (20g) tonight. I cant believe the carnage, the turbine shaft broke, the exhaust wheel put a hole in the housing, oil filled the exhaust and blew out the hole. Then the wheel blew out the exhaust pipe. Broke and unrebuildable.

The exhaust and everything else is fine? The compressor didn't puke anything in to the intake did it?

Everey thing else is fine, only the exhaust side broke. The compresor side still turns nice.

I picked up a blown up vf39 and called 6star. I am sending mine in next week and I will install it when the weather warms back and will get results up for the difference in power. My last tune with a new ETS tmic and new Perrin sport tone 3" cbe put me at 360/411 on e85.

I am considering it as an intermediate upgrade until I go rotated.

BUT im trying to decide between the 10cm hotside or this. I would like to do both. but I have to do one before the other.

Sorry it looks like I won't be installing the vf48 in my car my wife just bought me a dom 2.5 xtr. I should be installing the 48 in my wifes car this summer.

I bought a VF39 core yesterday should be on it's way to 6starspeed today for rebuild with the billet wheel. Guy from 6star was saying they're seeing +20-30hp from the billet wheel, not a big difference in spool on the 2.5 maybe a couple hundred RPM but the spool is noticeably better on the 2.0 motor.
