Lets get this thing started right: I want a DI STI.
Let the argument resume. |

Mike beat me to it and I didn't want to come off as a douche, but I will listen to a Degreed Mechanical Engineer with actual experience in fuel systems over someone that works at audio advantage.
I like turtles. |

"Yeah, you're wasting your breath arguing with a person that has completed, at best, a high school level of science/engineering education. Yet he somehow seems to be an expert on these things! This conversation reminds me a lot of the 'you can't tint a sunroof' argument in which he vehemently defended his position for DAYS and was ultimately proven wrong."
It's hard to argue with someone who is so biased and has their head so far up their ass to see that there is an other option out there as far as modding their vehicle with the technology coming out. (not you smitty) Take food for thought, if you don't agree... don't agree and let it stand at that. Everyone is entitled for their opinion. It's not worth my time nor effort to try to fit in with the cool club since YOU are obviously wayyyy too cool for me. Nor would I want to nor have try to due to the fact of fanboiness and how biased/close minded you seem to be in these threads. Without knowing you but just by how most of your posts seem to be. As far as DI goes. Look at BMW's 335, look at fords new ecoboost motors, look at Ferrari California and 458... among the Porsche 997 and cayman... all cars that are making great power from factory and even better power after modded with fuel systems intact. Tomato, Tomat-o. We obviously aren't seeing the page nor agreeing on it, so I'm done with my side of the DI clusterfck. Time will tell and show if DI is a great alternative or I'm that much of an "ignorant" person to give it a chance and am to talk about what I've accomplished and have seen in a previous DI car. And for the record. MOST cars you SHOULDN'T TINT the sunroofs....not saying you can't saying you shouldn't. Per vehicle PER glass type. So yea, thanks for bringing that up again Its kind of like putting automotive film on residential glass... it causes the gases to heat up and causes them to expand and with that well... glass shatters. |

No sunroof - it's unnecessary weight that just reduces performance.
