I didn't break as much ground in 2012 as I wanted to. Worked 70 hours weeks for half of it. In between jobs...gf problems. Basically Excuses. I did accomplish getting up to 220 decently lean, pulled 405+ again, benched and squatted (knee got weird for a minute) 315 again. Excited to get going in 2013 with my solid job and time to train. I'm only 20 years old (21 in 3 weeks) about to utilize this natural test while I have it. Goals for 2013...

Unrack and confidently press 315x5

Pull 500

Abs at some point.

Pops was waiting for me to open the thread, but Pops has seniority here.

My goal is to get back on the platform. Would like to get a 1240 lbs total. Weight class will probably be either 181 lbs or 198 lbs or more. Pops says I need to be like Fetus and gain some weight to gain some strength. If my BP stays good, I'll pack on some pounds. Would really like to improve my bench. Getting 405 before I turn 50 sounds good to me.

With some proper programming, I'll see how close I can get to it this year.

Lose another 25lbs. Start using 2 pood kettlebell on the regular. Even out my arm strength (my right arm is significantly stronger than my left) Clean and press the centurion bell at least once each arm.

Bench 235
Dead lift 365
Sohp 155
Lincoln Half marathon in under 2 hours in may
Chicago marathon in under 4 hours

With a major injury free year, I think i Can accomplish these goals. Stick to my diet and make sure I cheat as little as possible, and I will be at my goal of 20% or less body fat as well. Going in for my blood test this month, also booking a bod pod session at the university.

Congrats on the PR's, Weasel, Fetus! Way to start off the new year!

2013 Goals:

1) Don't get hurt before the Feb, 9 competition.
1b) 1200lb total

Plan for February is to compete at 181lbs. I get to pick my openers based on what I can easily triple in training, and my coach will choose my 2nd and 3rd lifts...
squat: open with 375, finish with 410ish
bench: open with 300, finish with 330ish
deadlift: open with 465, finish with 510ish

2a) If I don't clear 1200, try again in July (at a leaner 181)
2b) If I do clear 1200, equal or better that at 165lbs

currently weigh high 180s.

I would be about 170 again. Would cut water to get to 165. I like being lean, especially in the summer with sports and such.
