I also voted yes!

I applaud the efforts of everyone involved. You did one hell of a job. Don't let anyone tell you different.

I voted yes. I would have approved the Super class proposal as well. Alas, I'm stuck running another year in PB against the Toyota Eagle Mk III IMSA GTP car that holds the overall track record at Lime Rock, while the Nissan GTP car that it beat gets bumped to PA.

EDIT: just reviewed the P rules, and the GTP cars aren't legal for PA or PB, but the Toyota Celica and Tundra that Steve Millen won Pike's Peak with using the same engine that's in the Toyota GTP car is legal for PB.

also voted yes, and I'm with Kevin, a bit bummed the P rules didn't get revamped but it didn't effect me in any way.

Kevin, since V1 of the rules, we've added a T30 class and bumped all the showroom assessments down 10pts, effectively creating a 'T110' class. Are you sure you get bumped out of touring?

If you have a dyno sheet and a competition weight, email it to me and I'll give you a new base class that might work out in your favor.

A few things the BOD changed in the rules package was requiring a windshield, dash and passenger seat (or petty bar) in Touring. They were trying to keep the 'race cars' out of Touring.

PM sent.

I do have a lot done to my car though, and have plans for more. It is a legitimate PB/SB car. I still had a loooong way to go to be fast in the car at the COM NHMS event. A better comparison for what the car is capable of was at Lime Rock a couple of days later, where I was running low 1:02's. With that, there was at least 1.5 sec/lap left in my driving, and with the suspension, diff, and aero I'm planning on putting on the car, that will be good for at least another 2 sec/lap.

A car maxed out at T100 is a seriously fast car. A stock C6 Z06 on Hoosier A6's is at the top of T100. If you're doing a tick under 1:00 at LRP, you're in the ball park. No need to go to PB if you can avoid it. Have a dash, windshield, passenger seat/petty bar?

I have no passenger's seat or Petty bar, and my car has an assesment of 127 TC points as I would expect to run it at the next event. Once I get the car sorted and figure out how to drive it, I should be right in the mix at the fast end of PB.

Voted yes as well. Thanks for all the hard work.

I'm 44 points on RA1s / NT01s & 48 points with SM6.
These assume 128hp/114tq, if I dyno low enough I can stay in T30 on RA1s.

Only took a -4 on weight, think I can do -5 if I don't remove the soft top or replace the battery.

Going to be a really fun year (always is) ; this change is just going to add to the fun factor.

The proposed rule book has been adopted. The rule book is posted here: http://www.comscc.org/rules/

If things move forward the way they are going, there will be no SP in 2014. I strongly encourage everyone to run in Touring or Prepared this year.
