Default 2002 WRX AT to MT swap

ok I have burned up the search function.

I have been unable to find a thread that says what pin on the ECU that needs to be grounded to tell th ECU it is a MT. I am looking for the AT/MT identification pin for a 2002 WRX ECU. I have the OEM schematics and it isn't listed there? if it is shown it isn't named.

Best I can tell is that I need to add a pin in B136 Pin 1 and go to ground?? anyone confirm??

Try asking Dave Anton at Rallispec. He's been quite helpful to me. I'm going the same route with my 05 WRX in the Spring.

Well started my swap...I THINK i figured out the electrical part...

Clutch in = PARK= should start

Clutch out = DRIVE = ECU shouldn't care if I am manual switching gears.

TCU is in play, so cruise and ABS should also function...ABS light is on because ABS module was unplugged.
