This hawk was sitting out side my office window. Luckily I had a camera with me, though not my telephoto lens. This was taken at 85mm. That gives you an idea of how close he was to me.

Gotta give props to my dad. I scanned the 35mm negative that he took 38 years ago of my brother and I. What even makes this more special is my grandfather bought that wagon in 1937 and my dad still has it.

If you don't mind sharing, what was the EXIF/setup info on that one?
I really like it a lot.

Just found a set from 2008 that I never published.

This is from the roof of the last building I explored before being arrested.

I actually never knew we could see stars in LA or maybe I just never paid attention... first attempt at star trails:

The trails parallel to the horizon are planes from LAX.

Holy hell... this thread so far...

whitty - that last portrait is amazing!
ac_dc - phenomenal star trails
CokeCan - great stars, too!

Then the dog and christmas tree, sledding, .. I'd have to quote the whole thing. Great work, everyone!!

Did my first ever engagement photo shoot on Sunday and this is the one I believe is the best from the set. Been on a bit of a hiatus from shooting for a while so I was rusty to say the least.
