Hey guys at Subaru now for my first service ! Talking about the chips and various stuff like that so far very accommodating! Anyone know where i can get a pillar gauge set up for my 13' sti?

Hey troy missed you guys the other day went down to hawley searching for you guys couldn't find ya though and im thinking double not sure what other gauges are good to have besides boost.

I couldn't make it.Got Stuck working the weekend!Now Alex and Kenny are mad at me and I owe Alex a case of brews for waiting around for me.Lol
Lots of guys have boost gauge, oil temp, oil pressure and or water temp gauges.Its your choice!

Oh it's not coming so well lol.

#3 piston was cracked, cylinder walls scored in 3 & 4, and block was warped.

All started from a small head gasket leak.

We're starting from a brand new OEM block now, new pistons, and reinforcing the block by closing the deck to help stop the head gasket from walking at high rpm.

I'm probably looking at more like 4/20 before I can even start break-in.

Oh No!! At least your getting a new block with reinforcements.I'm assuming you are getting Forged Pistons?Were the cracked pistons forged?

Yeah, they were forged CP pistons that were installed in the car back in 2007 or so. It's really uncommon for them to crack but it can happen.

We're switching out to Manley's because although they're a lot heaver, they are a lot thicker in the wrist pin area, which is where my CPs cracked.

Hi,there's a monthly drive that you can meet other Subaru owners and cruise with.The thread is tristate monthly drive and the first post will tell the drive date.
