Default Atlas Cutting Tools in Waterbury made in U.S.A.

I just finished my hunt for an extremely elusive tap set. I didn't want to spend $100 on a set. I needed a 12x1.25 taper/plug/bottoming tap set and the only place a could find a decent set for a sane amount of money was Amazon. But apparently the Irwin-Hanson set I found wasn't going to ship until the end of February, so it wasn't really "in stock."

I kept hunting, and after finding a boatload of cheap Chinese taps, I came across Atlas Cutting Tools. They advertise a massive selection of American made cutting tools made from raw material sourced from American producers. I'm not a diehard "Buy American!" advocate, but I'm very wary of cheap Chinese taps. I don't want my tool breaking....uhhhhh....inside anything. Anyways, they had the set for a very reasonable $28, so I ordered it and received it very quickly. My initial impression of the taps is good but I haven't used them yet.. They came in a little plastic box and are all coated in oil. They each say "USA" on the shaft.
