Well I finally got a real Subaru as in turbo/fast one. And wanted to introduce myself. Name is Andrew from Brockton MA So far I love it. A lot softer on the bumps and has a surprising amount of power.

Now you have someone to sell your parts to when you trade up for a BMX.

Just plastidip them. They are very easy to take off (2x10mm nuts) if he doesn't like it peel it off.

That's all I did with mine.

Thank you all for the kind words.

Small world, I remember your white srt4. I had the yellow cobalt ss in Brockton back in the day. I got a 08 wrx now. Funny how the car scene goes.

I saw your screen name somewhere on here and said to myself "wonder if that's the same person with the colbalt" I'd say we have upgraded quite a bit lol.

What did you do with the cobalt? You did a lot of work to that last time I saw you.

I ended up parting it out and selling it to go back to school. I got it in few magazines before that though. Make also had a srt4 acr edition a couple years back. I sold that too I had 4 cars at one point lol. Just down to two now. I'd love another cobalt though, fun little cars

Blacked out handles, always key. If anyone does try and actually prime and paint them, they are a huge pain as they are plated not painted and they take forever to strip.

My suggestions:
Invidia Dp, leabe the stock mid
Whiteline rear sway 20 or 22mm
Cobb adjustable SS
Tune (Wicked Innovation (no 's'))
Paint the inside of the chrome-as-hell headlights black - good idea, we do that too if you dont feel like it

Suspension is touchy on these, Konis and RCEs are a good match for performance and comfort if you dont want coils.

You guys done them before? I did the ones on my Z not sure if you've seen them they were my first ones. How hard is it to take the bumper off? Haven't even looked into it yet.

Not too hard. I did them on 2 previous cars before. Just have to take your time. I plan on polishing the lenses and protecting them while they're off as well.

Come do it at Hershey's heated garage! I have to do my beater's head and tail lights, and maybe redo my STi's. Lol

OP...it's about time you got a "real" subie lol, bring it to an Adsi event! You'll see a huge difference!
