Ac machine in Birchwood is good. They have torque plates and other tooling for Subaru motors that we got them. They are busy as can be right now but I think most machine shops are this time of year. ADB in Anchorage is also good.

Cool, thanks, I'll be checking these out tomorrow!

Something easy, and not for me or my car. Just in case anyone was wondering.

So after running around today, found out no one in anchorage can do what I needed. Met some nice people though.

Do some of the mentioned machine shops also do cleaning, hot tanking, acid baths, or anything of that sort?

To put in a better bearing? Any reason why the OE bearing can't be used? Is there a bearing at where your wanting to enlarge it? Aftermarket gearset?

Have you tried Unique Machine off of King St? They deal in everything from million dollar oilfield jobs to welding up little Jimmy's tricycle frame.
