Default '11 WRX winter wheels

Hey guys, I want a set of wheels for a '11 WRX, but I don't want to spend to much on that... I thought about some OEM wrx wheels. Which one do you think would be and would look better ? (All painted gold)

-98-99 rs wheels(5 spokes)
-02-03-04 wrx wheels
-06-07 wrx wheels
-08-09 wrx wheels

What do you suggest me ? I think the price is about all the same.

Thanks!!

I was thinking of using stock wheels as winter and getting a set of 18's in the spring for my regular set.

Do the '02 stock WRX wheels fit on a 2008+ WRX?

RS 6-Spoke look the best out of all of those choices.

^ hey that looks familiar! Yes they bolt up and clear the brakes / strut. Proper size would be 205/55/R16

Would wheels for an 05/08 STI fit on a 2011 WRX? Or is the bolt pattern different?

Wouldn't fit because sti wheels are 5x114 and wrx are 5x100

Cool, thanks. I knew my old STIs had the 5x114.3 bolt pattern, but didn't know the WRX pattern!

I run 16x7 et48 for winters with 205/55/16 ('09 WRX). No problem at all.

Only slight downside is that in pushing the wheel and tire a little more outboard, you get more spray and crap not contained in the wheel well.

I was thinking about possibly buying some 15" x 7" Braid rally wheels to use for winter tire duties... anyone know if those would actually fit on the '11, and if so, what offset would be appropriate with the wider fenders?

i was thinking of doing something like that as I had a set of Team dynamic 15x7 pro race 1's (45mm offset) with a 205-65-15.... but sold them as I got almost as much $$ for a 16" wrx wheels and new set of winters.

THere's some selection of 15's that will fit but VERY limited....

One prob i'd probably would have hated would be 65's profile.... maybe too mushy feeling.

I've got an '11 Limited on order and figure I'll need winter tires by the time I pick it up. I ordered some 16x7 Enkei EDR9s with Blizzak WS70s based on tirerack posting them as an option (purchased locally in Canada due to the shipping costs). Since then, Tirerack has updated their site and no longer lists the 16" options.

Any ideas whether the EDR9 will fit?

I know a 16" wheel will clear everything, I'm trying to find out why Tire Rack changed their specs.....

Yeah it's weird...They recommend us to buy a set of 17" with 235 tires...Why does it changed ?
