Default 2.5 swap into my bugeye

having trouble pinpointing answers from search about the questions i have

my 06 2.5 sti motor is almost ready to drop into my bugeye but ive yet to figure out the drive by wire/cable setup yet. some people say go sti and some say stay wrx. i have a wrx manifold and throttle body from the motor that used to be in the wrx so is it a direct swap? ive seen mixed answers about this, some people saying something about avcs? not sure what that might have to do with the manifold. its gonna have the sti ecu so avcs WILL be working correctly. i'd love to keep the wrx manifold and or throttle body to retain drive by cable. makes things simpler and easier for me by far. help me out?

if you're going to use the sti engine harness then why not use the drive by wire?
since the ecu references tps

did you really start this pproject and get all the way to this point without any research into the issues involved????

this is NOT just 'd000000000000d....im gonna throw a sti motor in my bugeye tonite and drive it to work tomorrow'

drive by wire is gonna need the pedals all changed and the whole wiring harness changed and i dont even know what all else

but this isnt just a plug and play thing you are wanting to do

if you dont have a donor car you are gonna spend $,$$$ on this

well, I spun a rod bearing in the ej20 and didn't want to build that so I just got an 06 sti motor which comes with motor, turbo, intercooler, exhaust, everything. I've probably just been thinking so much and the drive by wire never crossed my mind once. now I'm all confused about the situation! I haven't been able to pick the motor up yet but I plan to do that soon. I'm definetly gonna go with the drive by cable.
