Livin' the Dream: Olympus 2012

With one week remaining in our Kickstarter campaign we have a couple big items to share. The first is this: a preview of our first sports feature, to appear in Episode 1 of Subiesport TV! Our cameras followed the Noble Star Rally Team as they challenged the roads of the Olympus Rally in memory of their friend Matthew Noble Marker, a competitor that suffered a fatal crash at the same event in 2011. This preview sets the stage for their adventure.

The second item to share is huge! We have a contributor that wishes to remain anonymous, but has committed to a $10,000 contribution to the Kickstarter. That means we only need to raise $18,500 $14,280 more! Once we hit $22,000 an extra $10,000 will drop into the bucket. Now, before you pull out your sliderules, remember that many (but not all) Kickstarter campaigns see the majority of their contributions hit in the final days of the campaign (much like this anonymous contributor). The past three weeks of the campaign were informational - this final week is when the rubber will finally hit the road. Time to pledge your support! And remember, you aren't charged unless we make our full goal of $32,000 by Thursday, November 8th!

For those of you that have supported this project, we thank you. For those still on the fence, hopefully this new preview of episode 1 will tip the scales. For everyone else, just enjoy this new clip (featuring some nice footage from Olympus 2012 with driving by Ken Block, Pat Richard, Noble Star Rally, Crazy Leo and others) and we'll see you on the other side!

Im surprised how no one really tried to get this thing going. theres over a 1000 views of this. if everything put up 25-30 bucks from those 1000+ views. This woulda been all good. My good friend was putting up 2g and I 400. Sad that it couldn't meet the needed amount for this awesome project. I'm just sayin, if you can afford 50 bucks on a tank of gas, you can put up 50 bucks on this project... JUST SAYIN! I'd be down to put up for this project anyway, I think its something the community needs. Good Luck!

And we are pressing on, regardless. We'll just have to hold off the fancy aerial shots and forego closing a road for every episode... well, at least until Season 2!

It seems it would've been rather easy. Unfortunately, speaking for myself and perhaps several others, I paid for a SubieSport magazine subscription that I never received AND didn't get a reply for a requested refund of that subscription. I'm not throwing any more money in to that same pot. Had it not been for that, I'd have donated with no problem whatsoever.
