"Do I need to give extra time when draining the oil during an oil change to let the oil drain out of the turbo?

Sorry newbie here.. Jus got n 03 wrx wagon..n the seller told me to let sit for a min or 2 .to let oil drain.. B4 i turn off..Sub.mechanics say its a waist of gas n only makes the car heat up... So Wuts the best for my new baby??

C.N.: If you *just* beat on it, sure let her cool a bit to get the turbo temps down. Else, let it go. It's water cooled even after shut off.
