Default Question on Smog (for the smog techs out there)

I'm currently trying to figure out what mods I can do while passing smog.

I have a brand new 2013 WRX and I know I won't have to worry about it for 6 years but I just want to be ready.

Anyway, I'm thinking about getting my turbo and headers port and polished w/ ceramic coating by GrimmSpeed, GrimmSpeed hi-flow crosspipe w/ceramic coating and also getting the GrimmSpeed uppipe w/ceramic coating. (All black)

Also, I'd reinstall the stock downpipe when smog time comes (but not the uppipe) and flash back to stock.

My question is, if I go back to stock (minus the uppipe), will I pass visual even though everything else is ceramic coated? I know my car doesn't have a cat in the uppipe so I'm curious if I'll pass with an aftermarket uppipe.

Thanks!

Bottom: No matter what mods you have (unless you have cams) if you put your stock downpipe on, you will pass smog. Visually depends on how strict the smog place is. You do not have to flash back the ecu to stock for smog unless you have a crazy setup.
