Pfft...you're new at this - you race against yourself. Did you times improve? If you answered yes, then you won!

Use the videos as homework and take advice from the veteran racers. They are full of info!

Some of those veterans are full of other things too but that's another story for another time.

But watching the videos posted in AKIC and those in the Let's Post Your AutoX Videos - Constructive Comments Welcome! forum is never a bad idea. Read the critics and ask questions. Also, post your own videos and ask for some "constructive" feedback.

Also do lots of reading in NASIOC > NASIOC General > Motorsports and as well, NASIOC > NASIOC General > Motorsports > Autocross.

Last but never least and great on race day is take an instructor for a ride-along or go for a ride-along with an instructor. They are more than happy to do either.

And finally, stop racing everyone else there ~ race yourself. You'll have more fun that way and be far more likely to come back to the next event.

I did the best I've ever done and to be honest i didn't even feel like I was fast enough to come close. Such a good course good drivers and tons of fun. Want to say thanks to everyone who helped me out and gave me advice it was the only reason I was able to do what I did.

Hm. I feel like I've become stagnant.

I've been pretty much 5 seconds behind Jake for at least a half season now and honestly that's how I judge myself.

In other news it looks like all the other girls have stepped it up this year.. I'm not used to literally having the slowest car(hp wise). I mean I was looking at D's BMW, a newer WRX, and 2 GTR's.. It was interesting to say the least.

At the Track AutoX Results

So, I'm not on the forums much... so I don't exactly know if I'm doing this right. Here are the results for the April 28th ARP AutoX. I'm going to try to put it in a different format, but I figured this would do for now

https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7s8...it?usp=sharing

And thank you for the pictures Amanda!

Thanks for getting those up Brit. I pm'd you about a scoring and classing issue.

Thanks again for everyones' hard work at a very cold event. Hopefully we will get in more than a single set of runs next time.

I've uploaded some video to my you tube account of my best run but I can't post it until I am away from work. I should be able to get to that this evening. Ready to get into warmer temps and the meat of the season.
