New guy from Japan

Just moved here a few weeks ago! Lovely place, glad I get to live here for a few years... Been searching for a GC8 STI since I got here, haven't fallen in love with anything yet, but I head to an auction Friday so I'm hoping I come across something. Hope to get to know a bunch of you guys, and learn a lot!

98 version 5, stock everything expect for some cusco coilovers and terribly ugly advan model 7 wheels.

One thing I liked about japan.. The cars were cheap however other stuff isnt

Thanks guys! I can get a few more pics of the skyline for you guys! It's my neighbors car and it never moves. Pretty sure the engine in it is blown.

As far as my car goes, it'll be sitting stock until I get a job. Me and my wife came to an agreement that I won't dip into the savings for mods. I really don't plan on going crazy with it though. It's already an amazing car, so not much has to be done. It will be needing a new clutch in the near future though. Wish I would have noticed that when I test drove it.

Found a key while cleaning the car today, it was in that little stash compartment by your knee. It works on the doors but won't start the car... Cool looking key too.

Haha, that key now lives in my room. I used to keep it on my keychain because it looked cool, until I took it to a shop to get a boost leak worked out. I got a call that my car wouldn't start and may need a new fuel pump, but it was starting fine just an hour ago. I didn't even think about it being the JDM Y0 Key until I got there. The manager was a bit embarrassed.

Haha! That's funny man. Well all my tools to finally came with my housing goods shipment. Taking those "caps" off the side skirts, and taking off the rain guards. Heat guns going to come in extra handy with those, hopefully it's not a PITA. Wish I could find some goo-gone around here.
