vinyl emblem overlays?

I am looking to do a blackout on my 08 wrx sedan (black pearl). In order to complete this I was looking for some black emblems. I stumbled upon these

I was wondering if anyone has tried them and if so which color black is closest to the factory black pearl. The listed options are metallic and gloss (my assumption would be metallic but I've been wrong before)

Call them and ask, there's another site where they do these too, it's premium auto vinyl, I have been getting my products from them. Awesome customer service and they will get what ever you want and there prices are good.

if you're not up for overlays, I've gotten great service from Rebadge.com. He's currently working on a SW badge for my 2013 WRX to match the trunk and grill emblems.

albeit... the front and rear badges ran me $150 together for kevlar/CF.

Their metallic is more of a metal flake. I have it on my OBP. I would have gone with Gloss Black if I had known. I tried to clean one off and get you a picture today.

Those look great, but I am definitely on a budget. Lots of diy with inexpensive parts. That's the main reason why I'm only doing appearance enhancements and nothing mechanical.

I purchased vinyl overlays from crux motorsports and they worked out great. Cheap mod that looks great.

That kevlar/CF badge looks amazing!

These emblems look really nice, good find. I just ordered a set of Carbon black background with gloss black stars - I'll let you know how they turn out. This will be on a red wrx

Sounds good, I am doing blackout with matte accents so I would do the main part matte and the stars gloss. Your choice should give me a decent idea

I went with the CF background + Matte black stars and they look pretty good. The fitment and sizing was spot on, very easy to install. Just put on an overlay on my 05 today. Easy to install, and looks pretty good for 10 bucks.

Can you post some pics off the gloss black? Im trying to decide between that and thr matte black so seeing the gloss should help me. Thanks

I am waiting for my order i got the cf but with the gloss black. I have the spt carbon fiber trim on the trunk. Once i get them on the car ill post some pics!

Thanks man, installed in 5 minutes with a hair dryer. Great fitment, it's a very subtle change, but I know it's there and I agree they look good. You won't be disappointed

I checked them out and now im indecisive. ... they have stars and a JDM "I". Any recommendations or opinions on the "I"?
