Default Bolt pattern?

I recently fell in love with some wheels (work emotion cr ultimate matte bronze)...i wanted to purchase the same dimentions as my factory wheels but i don't know what bolt pattern i should take? 5x114.3 or 5x100? I would also keep my 235/45-17 tires so should it be 8 or 9 inches wide? If it's 9 inches i'll have to go for bigger wheels so i guess tires should be 235/35-18? (Sorry for bad english haha)

if your car is a wrx then its 5x100 but i cant believe you did not search at all before posting this.

sti is 5x114

im not even going to get into stance/fitment with you. You need to do some research.... seriously. There are threads dedicated to this sort of thing.

tire sizing has absolutely nothing to do with the bolt pattern of the car.

My car is a 2011 base impreza wagon. I recently acquired a set of 2006 STI BBS wheels. I understand they are different 5x100 and 5x114. Are there any adapters or spacers that will allow these wheels to fit on my car?

Both of you should do some research. Read the stickies and use Google.

No I wouldn't use any "adapters" if there are any at all to match the bold patterns, too risky.

What is the difference between using those adapters and a set of spacer with the same general design? I think almost all spacers over like 10mm look just like that. Not trying to be a jackass but was just curious.
