Question 08+ WRX & STi Interior Interchangeable parts

Hello all,

Just want to find out if the 08+ STi shifter Trim (The one with the STi logo on) will fit the 11' WRX without heavy mod. And the STi Stainless Steel Door Sills fit the WRX as well.

Thanks

yes it does, but you also need to replace it with the center console as it sits higher than the wrx one.

stainless panels do fit as well.

Thanks for the info. What do you hook up with the dccd control? Or yours is the STi? What about the door sill? Is that simply stick on?

I swapped in front and rear sti seats because I liked the alcantra over the cloth wrx seats and I wanted heated seats for the winter... Was well worth the upgrade! Now I want that center console. I love the idea of having an iPod where the sti controls were.

Does anyone know if I can simply replace the WRX cup holder section with the STi piece that has the sliding cover?

I'm wondering because that section of the console is removable with screws. Are the WRX and STi cup holder sections different sizes?

Alright so the basic stuff like the lid and the side parts will still be the same, the middle of it is completely change (interchangable) and the box will need to be changed too since the cupholder runs right into the box and there's no way to screw it in then. Like I said, After thanksgiving I should have a full build thread. I only got a nav/sub, alt cover, possible wing riser, (possible H-Brace), and a strut and lowering spring combo to do. Lol. I can do everything but the strut and springs before thanksgiving.

Does anyone know if I can swap 11+ STi SEDAN seats (rear) into a 2011 WRX Hatchback? (rear, obviously). I know the fronts are the same in sedan and hatch.
