The RS has *never* had AWD. I'm not aware of any Focus worldwide that's ever had AWD either, for that matter. It's always been FWD.

I'm not quite sure why people think this car needs AWD in order to compete in the marketplace. The rags seem to love it, inferior FWD and all.

So yesterday, the guys over at Shelby needed some drivers to move the cars to dearborn. Needless to say, we didn't make it very far with the widebody Mustangs on summer steamroller tires. It did make for some kinda funny photos, and entertainment. The Mustangs could barely make it up the small incline to the gas station, and it was like watching slow motion drifting when they tried to turn.

The Focus, for obvisious reasons was the best out of the three. It still had problems due to the fact it was on summer performance tires. I do not recall the traction control light ever going off.

Funtimes!

10 wide summer tires aren't good in the snow.
