Yeah, 2 shots of espresso in a small coffee cup filled the rest of the way up with coffee. And this is some fancy schmancy eurostyle hipster place. The coffee is "thick" if that makes sense. Mmmmmmmmmm...drinking a redeye from there now. Just a medium, nothing fancy. It was busy and I'm surprisingly not that tired. The guy that gave me the free one wasn't there...

Basically an americano, but instead of topping off with hot water you use coffee.

In an americano, it is espresso and then hot water to fill the cup. This makes a "coffee" but with the punch and roast of espresso. Want to take it up a notch? ditch the water and top it off with coffee. and I always go an extra shot!
Well sure, without formal engineering classes, core background, and no field experience, almost no one would make a good engineer. But he has the natural ability to think critically and logically, solve problems, and manage projects. Those are 3 key skills to have as an engineer. Add the hands on, build from scratch, design etc, I think he'd have been fantastic.

The Redeye sounds delicious!

Redeye - you will look like a cracked out druggie after the caffeine has worn off.

I don't drink coffee but that sounds good.

Does anyone know of any smaller biopharmaceutical/radiopharmaceutical companies in Indy/Chicago they'd recommend working for? I want out of Bloomington. No lilly, Merck, Roche. I already work for Cook Pharmica

a Flight engineer? Isn't that a glorified name for "Mechanic" ? If Seth was an engineer, he'd miss out on all the pilot/flight attendant sexy parties !

Him and were talking about that... an airline pilot could be a prime job for a bachelor. At least from what I've heard from the two pilots I know.

But no, I was thinking mechanical, not flight.

Flight engineer is the guy in charge of keeping the engines from assploding. We got training as that in Purdue on the 727 sim plus I got to watch the guys behind me work when I flew the 72 for sun world. It's pretty boring unless something goes wrong. Which in the sim happened every 10 minutes. Otherwise you're just watching fuel levels and general observation.

I think engineering would have been fun IF I could get into research and development of something cool. Otherwise ill take flying and doodling and playing on google sketch up having 18 days off a month.

Pretty sure if I had to do a 9-5 job now I'd end up losing my mind.

You wouldn't believe the amount of stuff those guys have to know by heart. At least in the old days. Now it's all handled by electronic equipment.

You should come check it out. Bring teh kids one of these days. It's a complete disaster right now since we're trying to take the landscape. The person I bought it from did not do anything to the outside for the past 2 years, its' been quite the journey. The inside is all gold.

that's me when I walk into my house everyday.

does anyone have a spare set of tires laying around? size 225/45/17? because of a misalignment issue, the steel tire belt in my front tires are poking out through the rubber. I need new tires ASAP.

Just ordered a beast of a computer for the cockpit project. Kind of a shame its just going to used there. Ill get to play on it though on off hours, of course but its just incredible what 500 bucks gets you now. It'll be able to play full HD across three screens. Plus the main panel and the little center pedestal display.

Here's what it looks like now. I got the side stick mounted. Still force sensitive!

I also got the tvs mounted up. Just need to paint them.

Is this the same block i sold you? I thought you were gonna rear it apart and use the halves, then, cough cough, return the internals.
