I think id be pretty decent at timed laps with no one in my way. I'd always catch up to people coming into turns but always had to brake too hard to avoid them and never had the power to get past them once out of the turn.

So I either need to try and not catch up @ a turn so i can carry speed thru the turn and pass on the straight. Or, not care about bumping into people. I think i tried way to hard to just have fun without making contact and getting yelled at... even though I think everyone who passed me hit me or squeezed between me and a wall to pass.

.... that and I think I was the heaviest person In our party, so, they prob doesn't help my acceleration much.

During competition events lighter people carry weights to equal things out. Passing happens from prior lap setup and late braking. They offer lessons or you could go down for a few sessions and practice. Examine your track data it helps significantly.

I think my F1 days might be over. I ended up with a fractured rib from a seat that was too small, and now every time I drive a cart it hurts. Ah well.

The one time I went I hurt my back earlier in the day. Once I was in the car I was fine. But getting in and out was painful. I was out of work for the next 3+ days after that. Haha. Still worth it!

The first time I did an outdoor series at F1 I got a nasty blister on my right hand in the first race and had to spend the rest of the series taping myself back together in between races. Totally worth it!

One of the times I went I ended up underneath a cart. I would definitely like to look into this and consider it.

Yeah, i was with a whole group that was all friends. So, they were a little more aggressive with each other than normal. Towards the end my lap times were getting very consistent, so, with some more seat time I might suck less.

If anyone just wants to go carting some time I'm always down. We could get a bunch of NASIOC peeps and race eachother. Or if anyone wants to go on your own I posted a link for a 50 percent off coupon a while back.

Cul de sac donuts for lunch! Why is drifting so much fun? My neighbors were out cheering me on! My 3 year old loves doing donuts. He said we are drifting like lightning McQueen!

Finishing up my taxes and man does getting rent suck for my tax return numbers, I need to work on some more deductions this year for next years return. Guess it's time to take that tree down and have the house painted and have the boilers serviced.

I can imagine, I can deduct rent paid from my state return. That's usually the only reason I don't end up owing anything.
