Default CEL 2.2L... FTP Sensor

Check engine light is on, mechanic that scanned it said it has something to do with the Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor but he turned the light of and it came back on again... I'm not sure what it does. I do know however that it sits on top of the fuel tank.
The car isn't being to great on fuel right now and maybe it's got something to do with this. This is the only code showing up on the obd2 scanner.
