Default People are such idiots -

So I'm getting onto the frontage road of a freeway to get to my office, accelerate to the speed limit, 50mph at about half throttle to get up to speed quickly so as not to impede existing traffic on the frontage road. (didn't cut anyone off, whole lane to myself)

I realize in the periphery of my vision that there is a car coming up fast, tis a new Camaro. Apparently, as I noticed he was looking over at me, he thought it would be a super good idea to 'show me wussupz' in morning traffic, when I am just puttering along in the far right lane going the speed limit. (he was in the far left, which turns into a merging lane for the freeway- lots of cars)

So he 'shows me wussup' and as he finishes getting his 'wut wut' look on at me, he turns back forward to see the line of stopped cars ahead of him, which he promptly runs into. The car behind him piles up on him, not realizing that brotonomous was driving like an asshat and not paying attention to the lane he was in.

Total count? Seven car pileup, as my co-worker arrived shortly after me and started talking about some jackass that was in a massive pileup on the frontage road.

Seven car pileup because some jacktard just didn't like the hissing growling STi minding its own business in the far right lane.

So today is pretty much going to be an awesome day. People like that deserve to crash their cars for driving like morons. Hope none of the innocent people involved with his idiocy were seriously hurt...

This is why people should have gopros in their cars running all the time. I would have paid good money to see that level of asshatery.

*assuming no one got hurt, if someone got hurt I would be turning said video over to teh police.

This happened 100 feet from a police station. Another reason why I am so conscious of my speed in that area.

OWNED!

But yeah, video would have been nice.

So, really, YOU caused the accident. If you weren't there he wouldn't have looked over at you and felt the need to prove himself and his car against you and your car, so he wouldn't have crashed, so the other people wouldn't have crashed.

You should drive more carefully.

I agree with this guy! I get a good kick out of watching Russian car wrecks on YouTube because every car is required to have a dash cam. There is some funny **** that happens, when any of you have free time, I insist go to YouTube and search Russian car wrecks.

Should be "When will people realize they have to pay attention in traffic." The Subaru had little to do with this.

And no, the pssting noise from the BPV doesn't scare anyone.

For real though...what a doofus. You sure he was trying to show you wazzup and he wasn't just admiring your car? I mean, the outcome is the same either way, but I feel like karma would discriminate between the two.

Last Friday, I had an onsite investigation in Malibu. I was turning right onto the 101, from a red light. Shortly after, the left arrow on the opposing side turned green. I'm about half way up the long on ramp, and I see this G37 appearing to floor it. Dumbass ends up getting inches behind my bumper on a relatively low traffic time. After a short moment on my bumper, he pulled up next to me, glanced over then floored it. All the while, I'm thinking... did I do something to piss this guy off. I guess this is what happens when you drive a WRB WRX.

The way he was driving, and not pulling up beside but rather rolling past while on the throttle gave me the impression he was puffing out his chest at me. <shrug>

My car does get noticed with the Borla exhaust etc..

From what I can tell you can get a used G35/37 used any where from 20-30k. Since this is around the price of the WRX (used STI). You are bound to see asshats in them just like you see asshats in WRXs and STIs

I see asshats in G37s all the time. A lot of times the car is black with enormous chrome wheels

The only a$$hats that rev up on me or show off to me on the highway are kids in WRXs and pickup trucks.

Justice served lol. Unfortunately, some other people minding their own business got rear-ended by this broseph.

When people do that to me, I don't flip them off, I don't yell at them....but I start acting like I am shivering and scared from their car. I also tend to blow kisses at them...believe ME it pisses them off big time lol.

That's something I would do

That or wink and bite my lip. Or lick my lips. Something very homoerotic.

Not enough Karma happens to "idiots" drving on the streets. A few months back I recall a guy driving an Audi R8 with a female companion cutting people off left and right just because he could. I prayed to the Karma gods to teach him a little lesson but to no avail.
