Default Word for the day: Unemployed

Well, I got laid off today. It was pretty unexpected. They are laying off a bunch of people apparently. ANyway, if anyone has a lead on a tech/helpdesk job around the $30-35k range hook me up. Thanks in advance.

The state is your friend... check here often:

I got a couple of leads from monster-type places, too while I was job hunting last year.

Take some time for a nice (cheap) vacation while you're at it, too.

I have experience in windows, Open VMS, a little unix, some linux, Citrix, some Novell, some Macintosh. I can pick up just about anything fairly quickly.

Also, I have a lot of experience dealing with WISE installation packages, and making web-deployable application packages.

I know Metro has a state job opening for a IT professional level 1, which pays about that much (maybe a little more). It should be listed either on mscd.edu or on the state's website under classified positions.
