So my point being a then might not always be necessary but wouldn't hurt.

Say what you will it worked and the car ran the exact same way as it did when it was stock, other than te response in the pedal.
Never ever give advice on this forum again thanks.

Just get the Cobb intake then, as the Accessport ahs a tune specific to having that ColdaAir Intake. Putting a different CAI on there could have negative results.

ATTENTION NOOBS:
Stop posting about how you have/had/or know some BRO that ran an intake on a Subaru and was "just fine." Without data logs, you have no idea if the car was running lean, aka killing the motor. (softly with his touch ) Nor have you done proper testing to ensure proper operation.

Research, research, research.
In the end, you'll be much better off knowing the ins and outs of this new car of yours, rather than going on the forums and going "Hey, should I buy these?"
But yes, if you feel the need to get a few extra horses out of the car right now, a downpipe, catback, and a Cobb AP will get you there. I've not done the research on the new cars, but on the older ones, the stock airbox is more than adequate for stock turbo power levels, so that's worth looking into.
Or if you have a tuner near you, take a drive down there and talk to him. They may be able to tune your car without the AP, or be able to suggest other parts based on what you're looking for.
