question about AP and tuning.

I am on vacation planning to do a stage 2 tune in feb w a tuner.

I have a question i can flash to a 93oct stage 1 map myself and log by myself right?

The reason i am askin is because ill be back before jan and i am going on a road trip so i can flash to stage 1 93 oct and be on my way without going to a tuner right?

For the stage 2 all i need is a dp installed w my exhaust. Do i need to go to a tuner or can i just have someone install and flash by myself?

Hi there. You can find all the available off-the-shelf (OTS) maps that we offer for your car in the maps sections at cobbtuning.com. Check out the links labeled "Map Notes" which will tell you the requirements for each map. Basically, for this car, we offer maps at the stage 1 and stage 2 level and additional sub-maps for the stock intake, Cobb SF intake, and AEM intake. Stage 2 maps require an aftermarket downpipe as a minimum (full turbo-back exhaust recommended).

The AccessPORT is very easy to install and it is certainly something that you can do yourself. You can certainly also run our OTS maps long-term as long as you meet the requirements listed in the map notes. While it is not necessary to get a custom tune, you could get additional performance and/or driveability through a custom tune.
