If we lose tomorrow... out in 4.. if we win.... I might change my mind. Kesler can't be the only one stepping up all the time. Wheres burrows? Higgins? Sedins? Kassian who?...
Ive only noticed kesler and luongo. It feels like roy is in dallas hes so far gone missing in the game

Canucks have never won a series after being down 2-0.

I'm just gonna leave that statistic right there...

Don't forget school. At least there won't be heartbreak in the middle of the Summer Semester.

Gillis need to go. what has he done in the last 5 year except traded away out draft choices? Burrows, Kesler, Edler, Bieksa, Sedins, Lou, Schneider........all were here when he took over. no replacement for Ehrhoff and Malholtra. BTW is Cory our goalie in the long run? he seems average at best in his playoff starts, last year and this

Gillis can stay if he does this:

-fire AV and hire Lindy Ruff
-trade Luongo
-do not resign MayRay or Roy
-buyout Booth and Ballard
-make Kesler Captain
-fill ??? spots with younger talent via trades/signings

??? - Kesler - ???
Sedin - Sedin - Burrows
Higgins - ??? - Hansen
Kassian - Lapierre - Pinnizotto/Weise/Sestito

Bieksa - Hamhuis
Tanev - Garrison
Edler - Corrado

Schneider
Lack

I should be the ****ing GM!

Everyones an Armchair GM... heres the difference... we don't have a Billionaire Canucks Owner and a whole city breathing down our neck 24/7 critisizing our every decision

But.. I agree with some of your points. Definitely make Kesler captain. Heart and Soul of the Canucks and I like that you put the Sedins on the 2nd line

James, you'd be better as goalie...no way a puck could get past that solid frame.

stopped watching when it was 4-1 for the Leafs, turned on the news this morning and just found out they lost 5-4
If there was ever a team that would find a way to break their fans hearts it's the Leafs

Vancouver trades Cory Schneider to New Jersey
Sunday, 30.06.2013 / 4:02 PM / News
Vancouver Canucks

Vancouver, B.C. – Vancouver Canucks President and General Manager Michael D. Gillis announced today a trade for New Jersey’s first round, ninth overall selection in the 2013 NHL Draft in exchange for Cory Schneider.

“Today’s decision was made after a thorough review of our options and in the interest of improving this team long-term through the draft and development of players,” said Michael D. Gillis. “We appreciate the high level of professionalism and conduct both Cory and Roberto have shown while continuing to help this team be competitive. I would like to personally thank Cory for his contributions to our team and wish him the very best and a bright future.”

The Canucks will make seven selections during the 2013 NHL Draft in New Jersey today: 9th, 24th, 85th, 115th, 145th, 175th and 205th.
I have no problems with them trading Cory, but I was expecting something more in return
