Default quick probably stupid noob question about exhaust

i have a invidia n1 dual exhaust. the left side was sticking out farther than the right side and it irked the hell outa me. so today i decided to loosen the exhaust bolts at the end so i could better align the exhaust but then i began to wonder if that messes with the gaskets...

so does loosening and re-adjusting the gaskets cause any kind of issue? like would i have to replace to avoid possible leak or should i be good? i should also note there is dried up gasket sealant on the gaskets.

Well, realistically, gaskets are supposed to be one time use. Have I reused gaskets for the catback exhaust before? Yes. Have I ever had an exhaust leak because of it? No. I cannot guarantee that you will not have an exhaust leak. If in doubt, I would replace the gasket. If it were the uppipe or downpipe, I would replace it.

I'd reuse.

Reuse. I do it about twice before I replace it. Only on the CBE
