1st time Subie owner in VA and loving it.

Hey everybody, SAturady i traded in my Stage 2 VW GTI for a 07 WRX TR. I must say its a big difference changing from fwd turbo to awd turbo with more power, but so far im loving it. i got it from browns subaru in manassas with on 62k on it. Its my dialy so mods will be basic, i.e. wheels, exhaust, accessport, and lowered. Ive heard so much about cobb tuning and it really has me excited to get one. Only have one pic but i look forward to meet all my fellow subie owners.

Thanks Mike, my only concern is since ive bought the car ive heard mixed statements in regards to the "Piston Ring Failure?" im trying to do some research to see if its something common in all subies or for more heavily modded cars.

I think your referring to the Ring Land issue that our pistons have over a certain power level. There is always a chance of course but at stg 2 you should be fine. I've been stg 2 for almost 40k miles now and no issues at all. Good gas, good tune, sensible driving.
