Default EQ Settings

Hi all. Sorry if this is repetitive but my second post, so bear with me. Does anyone have an ideal setting for a 2013 impreza stock radio? I have tried a few configurations and have not come up with anything that I'm in love with. If any audiophile has a suggestion, it would be appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome to the forums.. Upgrade the head unit. They're cheap enough.. Probably the best audio setting.. I'm putting in a new one myself this weekend I think, Just waiting on the Axxess ASWC to keep most of my steering wheel controls..

Fill out your profile so we know which model it is. As for the head unit suggestion, most imprezas definitely could use the upgrade. One of the mods here is a massive audiophile, but I'm having a hard time remembering who... for some reason Jack comes to mind

I have tried to fill out my profile but can't seem to access most of it from my phone. I will try on my desktop and see if it allows me. I thought there might be a minimum number of posts allowed until a full profile could be filled out. I tried to change my avatar without any success. I think I need to just get a bit more comfortable w the site and I will be ok. Thanks for the info

From my install experiences, most stock radios have the ability to do about half the amplifying of an upgraded unit through the internal amplifier. Upgrade and be happy. If the speakers are paper cone, upgrade those too.

FYI My rule of thumb is get the radio and speakers set before I move on to other modifications. It is my DD, not my dedicated racecar... yet

I max out the Fineness and Loudness settings (Or F and L, when you're in the EQ). It seems to really increase the volume without degrading quality.
