Default New Subaru Owner & First Time Customizer

Hey i recently purchased a (barely) used 2010 Subaru Impreza 2.5i Premium Hatchback and i've been itching to start customizing it and giving it that mean WRX look (without the extra 6k). My main question at the moment is can i put 17" wheels / tires on the car without having to modify the suspension? It has stock 16" wheels now but i'm trying to figure out if i can simply buy some 17" wheels / tires and get a more "lowered" look to the car without spending that extra money. Thanks!

There's a Tire&Wheel Section that would probably answer any question you could have about tires&wheel for your subie.

You can do ANYTHING for minimal amounts of money, you will just be sacrificing reliability and quality. It's up to you if you want to skimp just to get the "look" you want. I advise you just save and do it right the first time. Knock off parts end up causing more damage than they are worth.

Yes save and make customization correctly. Not worth ruining a perfect car with some cheap mods.

Tire size calculator on multiple tire websites will allow you to see the biggest wheel to fit without rubbing issuses.
