Default Maddad Whisper Dual 3.5" Tip CBE

Earlier today I had my Maddad Whisper Dual 3.5" tip exhaust installed on my STi. Naturally, it wouldn't fit with my aftermarket downpipe unless I removed my cats which I wasn't willing to do.

Took a quick trip to a custom exhaust joint and had him cut and weld the pipes to fit on my existing catpipe.

The sound is great. Rumblier, almost BMWish exhaust note at low rpm and reasonable amount of sound at higher rpm. I didn't really tear into the boost because I was a) driving on the street and b) a bit afraid of leaning out my AFR with the much wider piping.

I'm retuning soon and I'll be sure to post about any gains after I dyno.

The pics:

Weld it back in place

I think it might look more stock than the stock exhaust even. I am very pleased with the product and the quality of the welds on the Maddad CBE pieces is very impressive.

In this poorly shot video, I cold start the car and idle it for about 20 seconds.
