Default Iphone 5 compatible Nav systems?

Anyone know of any iphone 5 compatible touchscreen nav systems? I don't need it to play video from my phone but I would like it to charge it and to be able to control the music on it through it. Also, what company has the best nav software? Looking to put this in my 13 impreza sport for fitment reference. Thanks in advance!

I have heard that the pioneers cannot control the iphone 5 actually. I was reading about it on crutchfield last night

I suggest reading on avic411. It's a dedicated site for hacking/configuring all pioneer product.

I will be surprised if the iPhone5 is not supported with a simple patch.

Pioneers don't support VIDEO from the iPhone 5, but a new cable just came out that requires a few extra adaptors and a firmware update. Regular USB charges and allows music I believe, just no video.

I use a iPod 4gen an video work fine with pioneer cable.

With the new connector for iPhone pioneer should have made an update

Dug into this today and it looks like alpine is the only company currently with straight up USB compatible head units that will utilize all functions of the phone. Anyone have experience with their navigation software and if so how is it compared to say a stand alone Garmin Nuvi? Thanks!

No idea about alpine, but anything look better than a stand alone GPS with a lot of cable hanging.

I'm more a pioneer guy, like the look and function perfectly with my car and steering wheel control.

I'm sure that all company will add support for ihpone5 and even android phone pretty soon. I' pretty sure that only a software update is necessary with the good cable.

Pioneer's solution for i5 support is really poor, which is why I won't be getting one this time around. I'm going for the Alpine ICS-X7HD (not navigation though):

Another option that was revealed at CES this year is the Clarion NX60, and this does have Navi:
