Sell the car and buy a Honda.
Or Research, read, search, read, and read. This question is asked on a daily basis, intake will risk your engine if you don't get the car tuned. Exhaust I assume you mean catback which will net you an increase in sound, don't get a fartcan though. Most upgrades will be either suspension or for look. Your best bet would be to hold off on modding and do some maintenance. |

If the timing belt hasn't been done start counting your pennies. I like to do an oil change at least when buying a preowned car. You could do the 30k: oil, tranny, diff, coolant, plugs, brake fluid, air filter, toss in a cabin air filter, pcv valve, check brakes and suspension, wash your car. Do all these yourself with help of a friend and you'll save hundreds, but make sure they're done properly. The timing belt unless you're much more inclined leave to a shop preferably that specializes in Subaru. Search your local thread for those.

^ All that he said, AND save $$ for a potential headgasket blow. 100 000 miles is an expensive maintenance milestone.

Yes they are. Not trying to be a d*ck, but all your questions can be answered somewhere on this forum. looks like you have a lot of reading to do. You will get flamed if you continue down this path of asking the most basic of Subaru questions.
