Default Supertech buckets

Anyone using the supertech buckets? I'm curious, but apprehensive about the button to shim.

Part of me has to wonder about using large diameter buckets with custom cams but no experience whatsoever.

The EZ30R uses that style of shim / bucket combination as well on the intake valves (I don't recall if they use them on the exhaust valves or not). They use them on the intake valves because of the AVLS system and the hydraulic bucket required to make the system work.

I don't have any experience with the supertech bucket setup, but I have never heard anything bad about it.

I am using them on my build. MAPerformance built the heads, so for any technical questions, I am sure one of those guys would be able to answer. I only have 800 miles so far, but no problems out of them yet!
