I've seen that exhaust for less than $300 for the hatchback at least. http://www.erzperformance.com/TSUDO-...-p/20-9365.htm

I second that. I am trying to get rid of mine. It lasted all of 100 miles at most. Though with the silencer it isn't too terrible.

Strange how it sounds bad (apparently). Wonder if it's because of muffler design. I have a Megan N1 style muffler (custom axle-back) on my 2.5i and it definitely doesn't sound like what's being described in this thread.

Then don't waste ur time n money. Have one custom made at a exhaust shop for a 3rd of the price. That's what I would do if I could go back. The EL headers with a catback to me sounds similar to a civic with a tad different note. Personal preference I'd go with magnaflow/tsudo n1/borla.

I've heard the Borla from the outside and to me it sounds good but I haven't been in the car so I don't know about droning. Since you won't really get any power gains I would just go get the muffler replaced at a shop like Steve2.5i suggests and be done with it. You can get a nice sound and spend less money.

Not too ricey, decent rumble and does cost $1,000's

I really like the sound of the exhaust in that vid.. he must have modified it?

Rallisportracing.com just go UEL if u really want the rumble, otherwise ur wasting ur time trying to achieve it with the stock EL/catback. To me when I had EL headers with my catback, it sounded ricey past 3-4k rpm n only yielded a tiny small rumble if any. Buy the headers then get a custom build catback or even axle back with 2.25 piping and be done with it. Otherwise pick n pray what u bought will be what u think ull like. A muffler shop shouldn't charge more then 200$ to bend u one up. I already gave u my opinion on what sounds good. If your worried about the ricey/rasp sound get urself a resonator welded in. Good luck

Go to semotors.com and call them. If you give them a ring you can get a 10% discount on your order. I just bought the whole exhaust for 557$. i reccomend getting the catted mid-pipe because it is really loud and backfires like a SOB. I can't tell you how many people thought there was gunfire. anyways its a decent exhaust and if you want the rumble you'll like it. once i get it i plan on posting a decent review cause i haven't seen anyone do a review yet. im getting it in this saturday. also if you get the headers get the mobil1-108 oil filter cause the purolator is to big. mobil 1 is 2.49 inches in diameter and the purolator is about 3.1 inches or something like that.

scratch se motors off the list they only sell from 97-05 but anyways its a decent exhaust for the money. and if its too loud you can always fabricate something to shut it up a bit

Just go have an exhaust shop throw together a straight pipe exit with a couple of 2.5" Vibrant resonators. Probably be $400 tops and will sound great.
