Default Any good cheap front lips?

Has anyone found any good front lips that are cheap? I had a Charge Speed bottom line type 2 carbon lip on my 04 STi and liked it a lot but it didn't last long. I would like to get another one but don't want to drop $500 on another one. I want to go with a polyurethane lip because it should hold up a lot better but there are so many options. I had wanted to get one that Subimods offered but can't find them on their site any more. Can any one point me in the right direction for a decent lip at a decent price.

I assume that this is the JNA lip that has been mentioned
http://www.jnaperformance.com/index....product_id=104
Has anyone actually bought this one? For $150 shipped sounds pretty good if its a decent lip

Bayson racing (baysonr) on eBay makes some really good quality front lips from $60-$150 & free shipping.

Did you bother searching at all?

JNA isn't an "expensive ebay lip" at all.

I did do a couple searches for lips and I did find a lot of lips but most had the same generic picture of a Charge Speed lip installed. That doesn't really help when the pictures are not the actual product. That's why I'm asking for the experience from nasioc community in what's decent and what isn't worth it.

Sounds like we both had the same parts, lol. I would go with the JNA. I had the Bayson R before I picked up the Chargespeed. JNA looks and installs better than the Bayson R.

EDIT: I have picts of my Bayson R lip..I'll post them up when I get home.

What is your standard for quality? What I am asking is are you talking about material used, fit, finish and look? If so I would love for you to take a quality piece that costs a little more from another manufacturer and compare.

9 times out of 10 you will find that the baysonr lips look good from afar but far from good when up close. There was a thread here that compared their V-Limited knock off to the real thing and you could see where they skimped out on small details and the lip didn't even fit properly. You could see seems in the end sections that bolt to the inside of the fender. They dont come with the thin protective rubber strips that keep the lip from rupping up against the paint.

All the little details add up and in the end you get what you pay for. Unfortunately a driveway that starts off with a slightly steep slope ruined mine, now it just protects the bumper from anything that could have happened to it until i replace it lol.

Pick your poison.

Same lip.

Same fit.

If it's bent, just warm it up before instal and go to the dealer and get the factory hardware.
